Hey everyone! I’m sorry I haven’t been in touch for awhile. Many of you have wondered if I ever came back from China … Yup, I’m home. I’ll have a brief update on that below.
So much going on! I’ll try to keep this a short as possible …

This Saturday I’ll be performing for a few thousand close friends at KLTY’s Celebrate Freedom in Dallas, TX. If you’re coming to that festival, I hope you’ll catch my set on the main stage – and then come visit afterward at the meet-and-greet area!

CHINA
First off, I wasn’t there for the earthquake – but thanks for asking. I’m sorry to worry you guys by not communicating after I returned from China. This trip was really amazing, and I hope to have a more detailed update for you soon. For now, let me just say that it was the most effective evangelism that we’ve ever done – and as a result we faced the most resistance. I have to be careful what I write in such a public forum, but we even experienced some real interference (read: interrogation). I’m convinced that God was using us in some powerful ways, and that’s bound to draw some of the enemy’s fire. Please keep praying for the believers in China and for our ongoing efforts there.

CHINA IN APRIL
Here's the most important part of this email; I'm heading back to China in April, and I really need your prayers. I'm not free to share specifics, but I can tell you we'll be doing some very cool evangelism stuff. I will send emails from China to let you know how to be in prayer for our team, and I'll put you on that list if you're interested (just reply to this message to let me know).

Hey everyone! My new 6-song CD "ACT OF SURRENDER" will be available in just a couple of weeks, and NOW would be a great time to get your order in!
There's a lot of news to share with you guys, but it will have to wait a couple of weeks. This will be a pretty crazy year, with 2 CDs coming out, another tour of China, lots of exciting things happening at the church where I serve, touring all over the U.S. (festivals, camps, chuches and even house concerts!), etc...
...all that to say: THANKS to all of you who keep this ministry in your prayers. I can't tell you how much that means to me.

There are tons of places online that allow you to add your comments about an artist. So all I need is for you guys to tell the world what you think of my music! (But only if you LIKE it...)
Actually, it might look like I'm fishing for compliments, but I'm not. When you visit iTunes, you'll notice that people write reviews of artists' CDs. When you buy a CD from an online retailer (i.e. Amazon.com), there's a place where you can let others know how much you like (or dislike) that CD. Your opinion counts - and people do read these comments. I'd really love it if you guys would just take a few moments and surf around the net spreading the word that you like my music!

BOOKING 2007 and 2008!
I'm working on my schedule for the rest of 2007 and all of 2008, and I want to come to your town! Here’s what’s in the works:
- I'll be doing some acoustic shows w/ Jesse Shuster throughout the year (mostly Northwest)
- Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee: late August and early Sept 07
- West Coast: late Sept and early Oct 07

NEW CD NEWS:
We are working hard on my new project "Clouds And Fire", and my hope is to have it available before Christmas. This is, hands down, the best thing I've ever recorded. It's all very upbeat and fun - and very fresh and original (if I do say so myself...). Please be in prayer for us as we continue the work of making it sound great!

Hey everyone! We have sunshine here in Idaho, and there's just something about the warm weather and clear skies that puts me in a good mood. I'm leaving for Nashville in the morning to continue working on my new CD, and I'm excited about how this project is developing. I can already tell it will be my favorite of all the records I've done...

I'm doing limited touring in 2007, largely due to my new role on staff at Eagle Christian Church. But tonight (Fri, April 27) I'm doing a show with my good friend Jesse Shuster in nearby Nampa, ID. Hey everyone, this will be a short one… I hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season. It’s been a little different this year for our family (I’ll explain below), but the decorations are up, gifts are (mostly) wrapped and under the tree, and I’m finally kind of in the mood for Christmas music…

First, I want to share some difficult news with you. Some of you know that my wife’s mom was recently diagnosed with cancer, and she passed away on Saturday. The grief is very real, but there’s great comfort in the knowledge that she is Home with the Lord and at peace. We appreciate your prayers as the family gets through this difficult time.

I’ve started to really enjoy the whole blogging experience, and I’ve just put a new entry up on MySpace and at my Official Website. It’s all about penguin costumes, Starbucks and changing the world (it all connects – really!) . . . I hope you’ll check it out (and leave a comment while you’re there!).
Quick note about MySpace . . . to be honest, I can’t wholeheartedly recommend it. It’s great for me to have a presence there and have people find my music who hadn’t heard it before; but there’s a lot of garbage up there. So just be careful (and parents – please pay attention to your kids’ activity online!).
“BRING GLORY” IN STORES!
You probably know this, but “Bring Glory” is in stores nationwide! Unfortunately, the songs are STILL not on iTunes, etc. This is frustrating, of course, but my record company is working to correct the problem. Hopefully soon… :-/ All of my previous CDs are available on iTunes, Rhapsody, MSN Music, etc.
